Further on, SARET started producing large-scale storage tanks for fuel, solvents, alcohol, chemicals, molasses and water, penstock and related works.

In 1983 the corporation got involved in the production of concrete panels for residence and pre fabricated buildings,followed by participation in the construction,operation,and administration of industrial parks under the concept of free trade zones designated for exports.

In the last decade SARET has participated actively in the development of renewable energy generation projects in the Central American and Mexican regions.

The companies that comprise Grupo Corporativo SARET have been able to experience continuous growth thanks to years of excellence and diversity in their services.

Saret has applied technology ,knowledge and vast experience in the development of its projects through Central America,Panama,Venezuela,Mexico and the United States of America.

Saret has been able to consolidate the areas of design,civil construction,mechanical and electrical installations,equipment supply ,heavy industry manufacturing ,specialized transport, plant start up and earth works.

The excellence in our services has provided for continuous growth in our companies.

Saret has exported its knowledge ,experience and technology in the construction and engineering areas to multiple projects in Central America,Panama,Mexico ,Venezuela and the United States of America.

The companies that comprise Grupo Saret have always been conscious in their management of scarce resources and have always utilized the highest standards of production. The corporation is optimistic and well prepared to participate in the economic growth and increased level of openness that Costa Rica and the wider Central American region is experiencing.

In 2006 Saret celebrated its 30th anniversary .On this date the President and CEO,Juan Bautista Ramirez Steller commemorated the roots of this great corporation.

Grupo Corporativo SARET was born on January 20th 1976.It began as a consulting firm in the alimentary industry and as a local representative for foreign firms specializing in manufacturing agricultural equipment

In 1977 SARET was engaged in the design,engineering,mechanical and civil construction of processing and storage equipment for grains and cereals. From this year Saret started producing penstocks and large scale storage tanks for fuel,solvents,alcohol,chemicals,molasses and water.
